At RaveSafe, our mission is to enhance safety and well-being at festivals and outdoor events. We’ve developed an app that combines cutting-edge technology with practical tools to help you manage emergencies, stay connected with your group, and receive critical event updates—all in real-time.
Our team consists of British Army veterans, DJ's and promotors who have over 150 years of combined experience of attending events bringing a wealth of practical, security and first aid knowledge to the table. This expertise guides every aspect of RaveSafe, ensuring that your safety is our priority.
So why are we doing this? Simply... Because we care! We are all music and festival lovers just like you. We've probably shared many a dance floor with you and even shared in the same moments that become part of your life long memories. We want EVERYONE who goes to an event to make it home safely, so that they get the chance to tell their loved ones about the amazing time they've just had. About the DJ's or Acts they got to see or about the crazy things they witnessed! To show them pictures of the new life long friends they just met or the videos of their favourite artists. No-one goes to an event not expecting to make it home. We know the risks of what we do, but with the ever increasing strength and purity of the drugs currently on the market, plus the increased use of synthetic substances used to bulk up what we're taking, It's now more important than ever that we learn how to look after each other in an emergency. How to spot the signs of unintended overdose, serotonin poisoning and shock. To know that there are organisations out there like The Loop or Wedinos who you can send a sample of your stuff too, who'll test it and tell you exactly what's in it. We want to bring this information to you on a level that you'll understand. That's why we're working flat out on our KETAVERSE characters and teaching aids in order to share this lifesaving information in a funny, un-lecturing way. So show your support by following us on our social's and become a part of the RaveSafe family.
We actively share harm reduction news and safety tips through our social media platforms to help you make informed decisions before and during events. As the app evolves, we want you to be part of our journey. We’ll soon be opening a waiting list for beta testers, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of RaveSafe by participating in exclusive testing events.
Join us on this mission to make festivals safer, more connected, and more enjoyable for everyone
Meet The Team
Jimmy
Hey I'm Jimmy, I'm ex Armed Forces and a father of 3. I'm married to Nicki and together we come up with the initial concept of RaveSafe. After several meetings with our App developer and ensuring that our vision for the app was possible, we quickly went about putting a team together that had the skills and experience to bring our vision to life. I attended my first event at 16yo at Gatecrasher at Leadmill and my love of 'raving' grew from there. I'm a scouser so had the privilege of having the Cream nightclub as my local, something i took serious advantage of. I loved it so much that i would drive back from my Army base in Germany on a Friday after work just to go on a Saturday night having to be back on parade for 8am Monday morning. Even now at 45, my love of music, festivals and events is stronger than ever, and it's my honour to be part of this amazing team and to be partly responsible for this amazing groundbreaking App which gives me serious piece of mind knowing that one day soon, it will be used to keep our kids safe when they follow in our footsteps..
Shaun
Hi, I'm Shaun, I'm Ex- Armed Forces veteran and Harm Reduction Analyst for RaveSafe! I began 'raving' at 18 years old, experiencing the scene past and present and the impact of the drug culture. There has always been a clear need (and now more than ever) for a Harm Reduction attitude towards the ever increasing use and dangers of drug taking at events. It's an honour to be a part of RaveSafe and play a role in the future of harm reduction measures in our society and hopefully help many out there to Live for the Moments but return home SAFE.
Jo
Hi I'm Jo the community outreach coordinator and education content developer for RaveSafe. I'm a big time raver and travel all over the UK and Europe attending events. From Creamfields UK to Hideout Croatia with Luminosity in Holland in between. I'm known by so many ravers of all ages around the UK and Europe and have spent the last 2 years telling them all about this excellent new App I'm so proud to be a part of called RaveSafe. Explaining how this revolutionary app will not only educate the younger generation of ravers , but will keep all party goers of all ages safer when they're out at an event. It's my aim to build the RaveSafe community to be an instantly recognised organisation, to educate and to save lives. See you on the dance floor.
Sid

Amy
Hey I'm Amy, I'm part of RaveSafes social media team. I went to my first festival with my big sister and her friends and had THE best time and i've loved them ever since. I love listening to Mowtown plus you cant beat a bit of House! I love being surrounded by friends and family and creating memories. I like nothing more than a bottom-less brunch or dancing the night away at family parties.
Nicki
Hi I'm Nicki, I'm married to Jimmy and a mum to 2 amazing kids. Together, we came up with the initial idea for RaveSafe whilst talking one night about the various emergencies we've seen at festivals and events and about the people we've come across who had lost their friends and had no way of getting back in touch with them. We quickly found an app developer and went through the process of seeing if our idea was viable before putting together our amazing team. I first started going to events when i was 18. My first event was at miss Moneypenny's in Birmingham and ever since then I've been hooked. I met Jimmy when i was 21. in Germany. My dad was in the Forces and they were based in the same regiment. We both shared a love of music and events and have been lucky enough to travel around experiencing some of the biggest events on offer. I'm honoured to be a part of the RaveSafe team and to play a part in this amazing App. I look forward to sharing a dance floor with you for years to come.
AJ
